Primary Crushers for Copper Ore

The extracted copper ore generally is delivered to the processing plant by truck and is dumped into a bin. The vibrating feeder or screens separate large boulders from finer copper rocks that do not require primary crushing, thus reducing the load to the primary crusher. Primary crushing systems consist of crushers, feeders, dust control systems, and conveyors used to transport ore to coarse ore storage.

Jaw crusher, impact crusher, or gyratory crushers are usually used as primary crushers for copper ore for initial reduction. The crusher product, normally 7.5 to 30 cm in diameter, and the grizzly throughs (undersize material) are discharged onto a belt conveyor and usually are conveyed to a surge pile for temporary storage or are sold as coarse aggregates.

Copper Jaw Crusher

Jaw crushers are used for crushing brittle, medium-hard to hard materials. Crushing in jaw crushers is carried out in the wedgeshaped space between a fixed jaw and a moving jaw. This moving jaw is driven in the top mounting via an eccentric shaft and at the bottom is supported by an adjustable system.

Zenith jaw crushers are available in stationary, portable and mobile applications. They are suitable for all primary crushing needs from mining to contracting, and from extremely hard rock to recycling materials.
